Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, no tengo palabras suficientes para expresar lo que ha significado esta novela justo en este momento de mi vida, porque esas cartas que escribías para mí ,"My Dear Friend" me han hecho sentirme verdaderamente infinita amigo mío. Lo más especial de la novela ha sido la forma en la que está escrita, al estar escrita en cartas los pensamientos que Charlie quiere contarte se vuelven más profundos y íntimos y eso hace que empatices muchisímo con él. A través de sus cartas, Charlie te va contado como le va en su nuevo instituto, los amigos que tiene, su relación con su familia, su profesor Billy...
Una de las cosas que más me ha gustado del libro es la relación que tiene Charlie con su profesor de literatura, ya que él le hace ver que realmente es importante y que es igual a todo el mundo. Billy le va dando libros durante el curso para que Charlie le escriba lo que piensa de cada libro mientras Billy evalua sus reseñas. Esa conexión tan especial entre ellos dos me ha impresionado mucho.
Muchas veces sentía la necesidad de atravesar el papel para darle a Charlie un abrazo y decirle que él es especial, por sus pensamientos, sus sentimientos y su forma de ser aunque todo el mundo piense lo contrario. Es muy emotivo ver todos sus pensamientos cuando sabes que lo está pasando mal y que la ayuda que él tiene es escribir unas cartas que tú estás leyendo y compartiendo a la vez esa angustia con él.
Nunca un libro me había hecho sentirme tan especial como lo es Charlie y es sin duda el mejor libro que he leído en 2015 y creo que sería bonito acabar está reseña con la frase más emotiva de que dice Charlie en la novela, "And in that moment, I swear we were infinite"
PUNTUACIÓN: 10/10, IMPRESIONANTE
